The full-time Salesperson role is a fast-paced opportunity at Stevenson’s Hydraulics. The company holds a long legacy in Central West NSW, established by the Stevenson family in 1934. The dynamic role allows the right candidate to grow their hydraulic and pneumatics knowledge and skills in a hands-on learning environment.
Stevenson’s Hydraulics is dedicated to upskilling its team and offering external development training opportunities.
Sales and industry experience are preferred but not essential.
The successful applicant must be based or prepared to relocate to Dubbo, NSW, for an immediate start.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with customers, peers and managers
Ability to multi-task and set daily priorities
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Punctual, enthusiastic self-starter
Ability to work autonomously
Basic computer literacy
Some weekend work required (alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm)
Responsibilities:
Customer service and point of sale (both in person and over the phone)
Produce and manage product quotes
Maintain stock organisation, stocktake and product ordering
Complete assessments and develop solutions to hydraulic hose, hydraulic oil and hydraulic motor enquiries
Cut, crimp and tailor hydraulic hoses and fittings to the customers’ needs
Pick and pack orders
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple supplier reps
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the store
